ABOUT ME

When I am not coding, making maps, or running fluid simulations looking for Lagrangian Coherent Structures, I am usually outside. I have been a landscape photographer for about 6 years and I am an avid outdoorsman.
I grew up in southern Florida for the first part of my life until the age of 13 when I moved to the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. Throughout high school, I quickly fell in love with the White Mountains and cold weather. I have my father to thank for my backcountry and telemark skiing love.
I brought my love of the outdoors with me to college and the outdoor community was one of my biggest draws to UVM. I was heavily involved in the largest and oldest outing club in the country- the UVM Outing Club. I became a backcountry skiing leader and quickly fell in love with the community. I was the prodeal and merchandising coordinator and I spent my senior year as the VP of communications.
While I am formally an applied mathematician and geographer, I have many interests from photography, graphic design and videography to coding, robotics, and telemark skiing. I love learning and I am just a naturally curious person.
